                       Stoney Hill Stable is a small, private farm that offers a wide variety of quality, sane, sound, well mannered and personable Thoroughbreds, WarmBlood Crosses, and Sport Ponies.

                                                   THE NEW FARM!!!

        It is with great joy that we can say that we have completed our move to the new  farm.  We are so relieved to be back in a private, safe but fun environment!  
        Our new facility is actually an old horse farm with history.  While we have a huge amount of work  ahead of us, the potential is there. There is a variety of  well constructed barns and buildings with character and charm.  We have just about 50 acres of gently rolling knowls and open pasture.  I can now sleep at night as the property is fully enclosed  and gated with 4 tiers of wood reinforced by "no-climb"  fencing.  To date, we have 8 big pastures in use, with 3 additional wood paddocks.  The horses are so happy to be back out where they can run and play!

     Stoney Hill Stable is a small, private farm located in Cayuga, NY. We offer a variety of talented, versatile prospects that will become successful competitive partners as well as life-long friends. Our farm is run as a "working-hobby" and our horses are treated as family. Our prospects are NOT rescues and are chosen for an intelligent, soft eye, a kind and willing temperament, athletic ability, and conformation.  We encourage them to excel in the discipline they show the most talent for.

    Over the years, I have found a weakness for thoroughbreds with a recent branch into WarmBlood/TB crosses. I have no preference of raced to unraced.  Some of the best competitors/show horses have been off-the track.  Those that are OTT are evaluated and given the proper down-time where they can become a horse again. We spend a considerable amount of time getting to know them, so we can give you the most accurate assessment of their temperament, safety and soundness. We have a wonderful group of well-mannered and personable animals who will be great long-term friends, as well as successful show horses.

We encourage you to come visit and try out all of our prospects. Should you like one of our horses, we do offer trials on a limited basis, subject to the terms listed to the left.
