Stoney Hill Stable is a small, private farm located in Cayuga, NY. We offer a variety of talented, versatile prospects that will become successful competitive partners as well as life-long friends. Our farm is run as a "working-hobby" and our horses are treated as family. Our prospects are NOT rescues and are chosen for an intelligent, soft eye, a kind and willing temperament, athletic ability, and conformation. We encourage them to excel in the discipline they show the most talent for. Over the years, I have found a weakness for thoroughbreds with a recent branch into WarmBlood/TB crosses. I have no preference of raced to unraced. Some of the best competitors/show horses have been off-the track. Those that are OTT are evaluated and given the proper down-time where they can become a horse again. We spend a considerable amount of time getting to know them, so we can give you the most accurate assessment of their temperament, safety and soundness. We have a wonderful group of well-mannered and personable animals who will be great long-term friends, as well as successful show horses. We encourage you to come visit and try out all of our prospects. Should you like one of our horses, we do offer trials on a limited basis, subject to the terms listed to the left. |
